Celia Balli

Celia Balli is Director, Litigation & Employment Law at KBR, Inc.  She is responsible for a variety of domestic and international commercial, tort, and employment litigation matters as well as overseeing employment law functions.  She has managed cases and legal issues in many different countries including Mexico, Brazil, Chad, Colombia, Canada, Australia, Qatar, and the UK.  She also led the development of the company’s first Data Privacy Governance Program and continues to advise on data privacy issues. Celia has managed several high-profile, complex cases which received national media attention. In September 2012, Celia received the Houston Business Journal’s Best Corporate Counsel Award for Handling of a Complex Legal Issue. Celia joined the KBR Law Department in December 2003.  Before that, Celia was a litigation associate at Porter & Hedges LLP.  She received an undergraduate degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University in 1998 and JD from the University of Texas School of Law in 2002.
