Margery Harris

Margery HarrisMargie Harris is an accomplished human resources leader in the Houston area who has led human resource change initiatives at top Fortune 500 companies for more than 20 years.

Ms. Harris joined Apache Corporation in 2007 as vice president – Human Resources and was promoted to executive vice president – Human Resources in December 2011.

Ms. Harris has held leadership positions at several large Fortune 500 companies. As Executive Vice President, she established the human resource group at Texas Genco LLC, a wholesale electrical power generation company. She also headed the human resources group at Integrated Electrical Services, a national electrical contracting company and Santa Fe Snyder, an independent exploration and production company and successor company to Santa Fe Energy Resources Inc. Ms. Harris was a lead design consultant at Hewitt Associates focusing primarily on executive compensation, broad based compensation and benefit program design. Prior to her emphasis in human resources management, she also held the position of financial controller for the international division of Continental Airlines and served as a landman at Shell Oil Company.

She also serves on the Alumni Board of the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University. Ms. Harris holds a BSBA degree in Finance from The Ohio State University and a MBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of St. Thomas.
